Devon County Council Training Courses

All DCT members can now register with Devon County Council to access courses that they are running.  DCT will pay for members to attend these courses but in order to book these you will need to go to this website and follow the instructions.

We do not recommend that members access courses such as Supervision Skills ro similar courses as these are very policy heavy and are targetted at public sector staff.  DCT will be running our own courses around these topics.

Please note that we cannot help with this system so please contact the Training Admin team at DCC for any assistance you may require..

Mental Capacity Act/Deprivation of Liberty

There is a programme of training dates regarding these important topics.  You can find more information and a link to the Devon Partnership Trust online booking sytem by clicking here.

Safeguarding Adults

There is a full programme of training events coming up.  There are plenty of places available. This information can be found here

Please note that if you are based inside Torbay or Plymouth, the courses they run may be more relevent.

Train to Gain NVQ Funding

Train to Gain is a funding initiative coming through Business Link Devon & Cornwall.  For businesses, getting the right skills advice is essential to choosing the best and most appropriate training. Train to Gain helps you to do this by using experienced Skills Brokers who can:

One of the key goals of the service is to make sure that both the training and the skills advice are impartial, flexible, responsive, and offered at a time and place to suit businesses. This marks a cultural shift in how skills training will be delivered, and will ensure that the delivery of training is much more responsive to the needs of every business.
