Skills for Care is responsible for the strategic development of the adult social care workforces in England

Peninsula Care Sector Group (PCSG)
The Peninsula Care Sector Group (PCSG) covers Devon and Cornwall and is made up of key stakeholders from the care sector. PCSG provides and processes Funding Application Packs on behalf of Skill for Care in Devon, Cornwall, Plymouth and Torbay.
Learning & Skills Council (LSC).
The LSC exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. Their goal is to improve the skills of England's young people and adults to make sure there is a workforce that is of world-class standards.

The Commission for Social Care Inspection is the single, independent inspectorate for all social care services in England
Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE)
SCIE's aim is to improve the experience of people who use social care by developing and promoting knowledge about good practice in the sector

Devon PCT is the new NHS organisation responsible for delivering high-quality health services for almost three-quarters of a million people in the greater Devon area.
We manage community hospitals and health centres and work with GPs, dentists, and pharmacies to ensure you have the best and most appropriate services as close to your home as possible.
We also commission inpatient treatment, outpatient appointments as well as diagnostic tests at acute hospitals in Exeter, Plymouth, Torbay and North Devon.
The trust was formed on 1st October 2006 following the merger of similar organisations in Exeter and mid, north, east, south and west Devon.
The RD&E provides acute hospital services to the people of Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon, a core population of around 350,000 people. We also offer specialist services such as cancer care, plastic & reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric care and renal services to people living further afield in Devon, Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, Somerset and Dorset.
Most of our services are based at our main hospital at Wonford in Exeter.
This hospital has been redeveloped over this past decade, bringing ophthalmic and orthopaedic services onto our main site to establish the West of England eye unit and the internationally renowned Princess Elizabeth orthopaedic centre.
Derriford Hospital is a large acute general hospital serving Plymouth and nearby areas in Devon and Cornwall. It also provides tertiary Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Renal Transplant surgery for the whole of the South West Peninsula.
Not to my surprise the Plymouth PCT Website does not work! Please will some one let me know if they get it working at any stage!
Torbay Care Trust
Welcome to the home page of the Torbay Care Trust, the only integrated community health and adult social care organisation in the south west. We were set up in December 2005, when social care teams from Torbay Council joined community health colleagues in the new NHS Trust.
We are responsible for commissioning, or buying, services on behalf of local people, including specialist health care for local people from hospitals, particularly Torbay Hospital, and social care from care homes, residential homes and from home care agencies.
South Devon Healthcare Trust covers 300 square miles - from South Dartmoor to the coast, from the mouth of the River Exe, past the Teign and Dart estuaries, serving a local population of 270,000 people. In addition we also provide a service to the many thousands of holidaymakers that visit the region each year.
South Devon Healthcare Trust runs a big general hospital (Torbay), serving the South Devon area, and is applying to become an NHS Foundation Trust.
Northern Devon Healthcare Trust was established in 1991 to manage the North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple. NDDH provides acute hospital services to the people of North Devon and neighbouring towns and villages in North East Cornwall and Mid Devon, a core population of around 160,000 people.
South Devon Health Informatics Service
The South Devon Health Informatics Service was formed in May 2004 to provide IT services to the South Devon Health Community

The South West Strategic Health Authority - known as NHS South West is one of ten new Strategic Health Authorities across England, replacing the previous 28.
